Area Councils are an integral part of the Movement’s governance structure and provide board members a platform to initiate and review ideas, suggestions, and proposals for National Council consideration. The Area Council Chair helps to provide a medium through which such volunteer interest and participation may be stimulated. This orientation will provide the knowledge and resources to lead an effective Area Council. Each session will be a live, interactive virtual experience. Appropriate for new Area Council Chairs and Area Council Officers, or those wanting a refresher.
