DESCRIPTION:The Jeremiah Millbank Board Member Academy is designed to help
  new board members better understand their role and responsibilities in pr
 oviding great governance for their local Boys &amp\; Girls Clubs. The Acad
 emy will be offered over two sessions in May. Each live interactive traini
 ng will be approximately 1 hour in length covering topics ranging from saf
 ety and board development\, to measuring impact and securing resources. Pl

 ssion #1 May 12th from 1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. ET - BGCA History and Govern
 ance\; Board Member Role and Responsibilities\; Board Development Cycle\n\
 nSession #2 May 26th from 1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. ET - Resource Development
  and Safety\n\nBoard Members must complete BOTH sessions to receive a cert
 ificate of completion. Sessions will be recorded if you are not available 
 during the live training\, but you must register in order to access them.\
